 â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹History

The road to getting where I am now is a long one that has taken over 20 years to get me here.  My graphics experience started in my teens really. I would draw pictures with allot of details in them.  Art itself was something that I could get lost in.

Through my high school years I developed a taste for computer graphics as well.  The Junior High I went to had a class specifically for computer graphics which I took in earnest.  During a standard Arts class the following year, I was able to design my first piece of public artwork for that same school. Winning out in a contest to make a mural that fit the "vibe" of the school. My second design, sketched out on paper before creating the mural proper, was finally chosen out of all the entries made by other students. The mural is still up on display at that same school.

Later, I was in charge of creating the menus for a BBS called "Station 477", using a program called AcidDraw to create the layout as well as the menus in Color ANSI graphics. The total number of pages created for the BBS was 5 and I spent allot of time tweaking each page until it was just the way the people running the BBS wanted it.

I have been involved with video game graphics as well. A ship I first rendered in 3D then turned into a 2d image was used for the MindRec game MeteorBlaster DX. I have also made custom graphics for use in level design for Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force.

Getting back to more traditional artwork, I have designed a handful of forum signatures for members of [SF] Starfleet and [GN] Guardians of Neraxia. These signatures were created by first drawing up the design. Then I would scan the sketches and open up the images in Photoshop. From there, I would create the layers needed. After each layer is finished, I would check the overall design against my original drawing and make sure it's a close as possible.  Each element in a signature is it's own layer so they can be easily edited without destroying another element in the process. Also, with Photoshop, if something isn't needed in a signature it can easily be "turned off".

Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to make an even greater impact.  Making the logo and also the business card layout for LED Quantum Light Therapy is my best work yet.  I don't want to stop there though, that would not make sense right now.  I want to share my talent with everyone.

This brings you finally to the present, the now.  Having taken you on this trip has been my honor.
